Who We Are
North Idaho Classic Car Club is a nonprofit organization whose members share a common interest in all makes and models of old cars, including hot rods, customs, restorations, and muscle cars.
How We Were Formed
When a summertime conversation turned from politics and sports to old cars, all four guys agreed that older is better–the cars were faster, roomier, easier to repair, and much more fun to drive! Others with a similar passion were invited to participate, and in the fall of 1984, a small group of car buffs met at Citizens’ Hall in Rathdrum, Idaho. As a result of their shared enthusiasm for classic cars, the club was formed. Today, NICCC has over 100 members.
During the months of June, July, and August, the club meets at White Pines park in Post Falls at 6:00PM on the third Tuesday of the month. The remainder of the year the club meets at 7:00PM on the third Tuesday of each month at the IHOP restaurant on north 4th Street and Interstate 90 in Coeur d’ Alene.
North Idaho Classic Car Club exists to promote interest in and appreciation for classic automobiles. By showcasing their cars in cruises, shows, and community events, club members connect in a unique way to citizens and charities of northern Idaho and eastern Washington. Our passion for classic cars is transformed into community service and fund raising. For many of us, this is an opportunity to give back to local areas that provided for us during our youth.
